Taylor Lindsay-Noel     

Founder & CEO, Cup of Té

Taylor Lindsay-Noel is a 29-year-old entrepreneur from Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Fifteen years ago, she was a Canadian national gymnast, but in 2008 under the coercion of her coach, she had a devastating accident that instantly paralyzed her from the neck down for life. Since then, Taylor has persevered through adversity and has received a BA in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University.
 
She is currently balancing being a motivational speaker, disability advocate, council member of the Premier’s Council on Equality of Opportunity and owner of Cup of Té Luxury Loose Leaf Teas, which was featured on Oprah’s Favourite Things List 2020! She was also announced as the Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Black Business and Professional Association Harry Jerome Awards, Canada’s most prestigious award celebrating black excellence.
 
In addition, Taylor has become a rising star as a disability and accessibility influencer amassing over 40k followers on TikTok. She utilizes her social media platforms to educate audiences about a range of topics including, business, entrepreneurship, accessibility and inclusion.

Tanya Jeffers MCALLISTER     

Senior Director, Everyday Banking, Advice Centre RBC 

Tanya Jeffers-McAllister is the Senior Director Everyday Banking, Advice Centre at RBC where she will establish for the Advice Centre a “New-to-role” Advisor learning ecosystem that enables a comprehensive onboarding, learning and development experience. The Academy is integral to the Advice Centre’s talent retention strategy and sets up new RBC employees for success and continued long-term career growth.

 

It is a role that Tanya is uniquely suited for, as over the course of her 17-year career in the financial services industry, Tanya has built an impressive track record of delivering exceptional results as well as implementing transformational change that sets up the teams she leads for success. As a self-motivated professional who consistently seeks out new challenges and ways in which to add value, Tanya has proven that she thrives in fast-paced, diverse, and dynamic environments.

 

Prior to her current role, Tanya held senior leadership roles as Head, Advice Centre RBCI and Director Sales Practice Effectiveness. These roles combined with her previous experiences in the industry has made Tanya an extremely strong and passionate advocate for a client-centric perspective that allows her to balance the needs of the client and the organization.

 

Tanya’s passion is not limited to establishing and achieving customer service and sales targets, drive profitable growth, drive operational efficiencies, increase market share and achieve high net promoter score results.  

 

It extends to social justice issues. She is a current member of the Meadowvale chapter of the Stronger Together ERG, Co-Chair of Diversity and Inclusion Council, Co-Chair Joint Task Force for Black Employee’s (RBCI), Chair of the Black History Committee (RBCI). She was an advisor to the newly formed Canadian Association of Black Insurance Professionals. Tanya also served as a Board Member – Conflict Mediation Services of Downsview for the Ministry of the Attorney General’s Office.

 

A trusted leader, mentor and coach who specializes in building strategies, leading large teams, implementing innovative ideas, engaging stakeholders, and developing new leaders- Tanya has earned the respect of team members, clients, partners, and contacts in the Canadian Financial industry.

VP Customer Care AIR MILES Rewards Program 

With over 30 years of progressive experience in a variety of roles within Contact Center’s, Sharon has demonstrated success in building a culture of change resiliency, transparent and open communication, high performance and employee engagement. Teams consistently exceed business, associate and customer service goals.

 

Sharon’s achievements in the AIR MILES Customer Care Centre includes development of a Customer Experience Blueprint for consistent call handling, implementation of a formal management operating system and launch of a fast-track on boarding process to improve the performance of new hires – all with the goal of delivering a better collector experience. As VP, cultivating a focus on associate development, coaching and operational efficiency has led to maximizing Associate performance. Sharon champions the use of Member data and insights which the Care Team leverages to drive engagement and enhance the overall servicing experience

 

Prior to joining the AIR MILES team, Sharon was Percepta’s Manager, Customer Care, at the Ford Motor Company Canada in Oakville. Sharon grew the Canadian portfolio to include Concern Resolution, and increased revenue by offering new services to clients to enable off-site placement of Percepta employees.

Vice President Marketing, ProcedureFlow

Stephanie is a VP Marketing at ProcedureFlow. She has over 15 years of marketing experience in a variety of industries including education and technology. One of Stephanie's favorite things to do is give back. She loves supporting initiatives that help underprivileged kids and newcomers to Canada. In 2021, Stephanie joined the GTACC backpack initiative, which provides school supplies and essential items to children in the Greater Toronto  Area. Stephanie is especially passionate about bringing more equity into business. Her personal mission is to create opportunities for everyone, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Suzanne fleur de lys - aujla     

COO, Valko Financial Ltd. 

Suzanne Fleur de Lys – Aujla, Partner is the Chief Operating Officer and Leadership Coach at Valko Financial. In 2014, together with two other women, she co-founded Women in the Mortgage Industry/Femme dans l’Industrie hypothecaire (WIMI). WIMI has amassed over 4000+ members across Canada, and focuses on education, mentorship and collaboration, to support the mortgage industry. WIMI received the Canada Mortgage Awards 2017 Best Industry Service Provider, and the 2016 Alberta Mortgage Brokers Association (AMBA) Innovation Award.

Her dedication to the mortgage industry is apparent in her deep involvement in the space, such as her roles as co-founder and vice president of the BC Lenders Association. She has also served on the board and executive team of the Canadian Mortgage Brokers Association – British Columbia (CMBA-BC). Suzanne has extensive experience with Mortgage Professionals Canada, having served for many years on the National Conference Committee, Education Committee, Mortgage Excellence Award Committee and on the BC Chapter committee.

Suzanne is an Accredited Mortgage Professional and a multi-time award winner in many areas, the most prestigious of which was the 2018 Michael Ellenzweig Outstanding Service Award, as given by Mortgage Professionals Canada. This award is considered one of the “Oscars” in the realm of mortgage professionals.

Away from the office, Suzanne is passionately involved in her local community (as she has been for over 12 years), and advocates for numerous charities. Suzanne is a wife to Gurjit, mother to Sanjay and Raman, and, an avid lover of self-improvement through education, meditation and has a passion for swimming.

VIctoria Imola
Sr. Director, Shared Services, MCAP    

Victoria has worked in the mortgage industry for over 20 years and has 15+ years of leadership experience.  She had the privilege of working for MCAP, Canada’s largest independent Mortgage Finance Company, for the past 17 years where she has worked in various roles and areas of the business.  In her current role as Sr. Director, Shared Services, Victoria leads the Quality Assurance & Operational Risk, Learning & Development and Workforce Management & Analytics teams.  She is responsible for supporting and managing operational initiatives by collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to drive the successful completion of tactical and strategic projects.

 

Her favourite thing about MCAP is the people. She loves connecting with people and learning as much as she can from everyone she interacts with.  Victoria’s journey at MCAP has taught her that with a great team and hard work, extraordinary results can be achieved.  Working with her colleagues and team members is what drives her and motivates her each and every day. 

 

Victoria had the privilege of leading GTACC’s Backpack Challenge at MCAP this year, which was a wonderful experience.  Giving back to the community is something Victoria is passionate about and having the opportunity to be involved in the backpack campaign is something she is very thankful for.

 

Outside of work Victoria enjoys spending time with her family, being active, going to the beach, watching movies, and spending time outdoors.
